When

Paper test (PBT): six rounds a year, always on a Sunday. Which rounds run outside Korea changes year to year โ€” under the 2026 plan only the January round is Korea-only and the other five are held overseas as well, so do not rely on the old "three domestic, three international" pattern.
IBT: six rounds a year, usually on a Saturday, and available outside Korea.
Speaking: three rounds a year, currently Korea only.

How to register

In Korea: register online at topik.go.kr during the announced window โ€” seats in big cities fill within hours.
Overseas: the exam is usually run by the Korean Education Center (ํ•œ๊ตญ๊ต์œก์›) in your country, and otherwise by the embassy, consulate or Korean Cultural Center. In Uzbekistan this is the Korean Education Center in Tashkent (tashkec.uz), which publishes its own announcement and registration link for each round.
Overseas dates and registration windows are announced separately and do NOT have to match the Korean domestic schedule โ€” always check your own country's announcement.

Fees

In Korea, 2026: 40,000 KRW for TOPIK I and 55,000 KRW for TOPIK II (paper test). IBT costs more โ€” reported as 70,000 KRW for TOPIK I and 95,000 KRW for TOPIK II โ€” and Speaking as 80,000 KRW.
โš ๏ธ These 2026 figures come from sources quoting the Ministry of Education's annual notice, not from the notice itself, so treat them as indicative and confirm at topik.go.kr before paying. Fees outside Korea are set locally and differ.
Scores are valid for two years from the results announcement.

Source: official NIIED / topik.go.kr information. Dates, fees and registration windows change every year and differ by country โ€” confirm against the official announcement before registering.
